CNN coverage of Passion 2012

Amazing week. I can’t find words to put around all that happened the past 10 days — partly because I am sleep deprived but mostly because there just are no words to explain just how incredible it was. My heart is still spinning and will be for a very long time. Humbled to have had a little part in the big story that Jesus unfolded in the days of Passion 2012.

Here is a quick run down::

  • 42,000 college students
  • over $3 million raised for FREEDOM (fighting to end human slavery!)
  • Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Beth Moore, John Piper, Lecrae, David Crowder, Hillsong United, Francis Chan, Christine Cain, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Kristian Stanfill
  • JESUS.
  • A generation united.

CNN did a piece on the Passion 2012 Do Something Now Freedom initiative….I must say, my husband looks quite handsome in this video! πŸ™‚ Check it out!

Here is the video article from CNN.com Freedom Project

  1. We were tracking with yall through the whole thing! I am so proud of you two and so thankful for the incredible way that Passion shared Jesus with SO MANY in such an incredible way! ! I am sure yall are exhausted! I can’t wait to download about things on the retreat! that video made me cry! we miss yall personally and at AC!

  2. That is amazing! I wish I could have gone to the Dome, but I joined in via the livestream all the way from San Diego πŸ™‚

My friend Daniel from IJM was there, and he said it was incredible! I’m so glad that Passion was able to partner with IJM and all of the other incredible organizations represented through Do Something Now.

Will the Freedom video be available for purchase? I saw at the Passion 2012 site that it looks like it’s part of the Digital All Access package? If so, I’ll definitely purchase one — we’d love to show the Freedom video at our church this month.
