Wow! I posted our video this past week to encourage YOU, but instead I have been blown away by the response and sweet comments. I am SO encouraged! Our little video has already had 2,000 views…which is A LOT considering most of my videos in cyber-space get watched by 3 people (yep, me and the grandparents!). Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. It is our joy to share our little story and really do pray it will bring God much glory! Thanks for sharing the video on your blogs and Facebook…I hope it continues to bless and challenge families who are taking a step of faith towards adoption. I was reminded again this week what a joy this “adoption blog community” is! Can I hear an amen?! I have loved “meeting” lots of new families and learning about your stories this week. What an honor to walk alongside each of you as your stories unfold!
Here are just a few pictures of our little clan from this week…
Much love from our house to yours! Have a great Sunday afternoon…
AMEN! Posted your video on my blog too!
Hi, What a beautiful video! I stumbled across your video on another family’s adopton blog last night.. just happned to notice her birthdate is 6/16 (the same as my birthdate!!!!) and the length of the video is 6 minutes and 16 seconds… AND the number you hold up is #16! I have been praying for God to continue to send me signs as to where our family should adopt our little girl from and I believe that these numbers are more of his amazing signs! God bless your precious family! I would love to chat with you! I have so many adoption questions!! I am continuing to pray that my husband would be convicted to adopt as I have been! Your family and your story are truly a God-send for me! bobi bobbitt
oops, my email is jbjjbobbitt@earthlink.net

Amen! So glad your video is being used as an inspiration and encouragement to others and a testimony of the miracle of adoption!

and, i’ll just have you know your video made it on my fb wall the other day too and a whole bunch of my friends love it as well! very well done!
oh, one more quick question for you… where did you get your africa necklace? love it!
thanks again for telling your story!
Thanks girl. The necklace can be found on Etsy by an artist called JunkPosse. You can see it here:

I loved wearing throughout the process as a reminder of our daughter. Once we came home with her, I put it in her hopechest to give to her one day when she is older.
